About us
The Wymondham cluster of schools is geographically large and contains 12 schools. There are 2 high schools, 1 junior school, 7 primaries and 2 infant schools. Each school does not work in isolation. We work together, so that as a cluster we can provide the full core offer of services and activities that are needed. The cluster is managed by the cluster Head Teachers who meet every half term with input from the Extended Schools Coordinator, the Parent Support Advisor and other partners as necessary. There are further sub-committees to manage specific projects.
The role of an Extended Schools Coordinator is to:
- Coordinate the individual schools offers
- Keep the children and young people, parents/carers and the wider community fully informed of what extended schools services they can access
- Accessing grant funding, looking at promoting and sustaining activities across the cluster and ensuring access for all ages and abilities;
- Liaise with other agencies/groups in the provision of services/activities.
- And much more.......!
